Measure over light clothing and stand in a relaxed, natural posture. The tape should sit flat against the body without pulling.
Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest. Keep the tape horizontal, positioned under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Ensure it sits close to the body without compressing the fabric or skin.
Measure around your natural waistline, typically located slightly above the navel. The tape should be level and allow room for one finger between the body and the tape for comfort.
